Ok, finally I am able to get around to writing a journal about the artist alley at Nakakon, just in time for ACEN to come up and have me procrastinate talking about that lol.
But first, I wanna talk about fellow deviantartists flyingpeachbun

!!! She had a journal entry about a feature exchange but I wanted to take an extra opportunity to promote her art.
Several years ago we were briefly in a doujin group led by Ryo at

. Since the project fell through I never got to collaborate with

, what a bummer. Maybe things will change in the future~ Check out these works by her and her gallery in general. I feel that her work has improved drastically in the last few years.

Those are the ones that she wanted to display, however I adore these two:

Enjoy~

NAKA-KON Feb 10-12 in Overland Park, KS.Ok now Nakakon talk! Here's a link to a slideshow of all the photos I gathered.
[link] Dude, what a crazy weekend that was! I shared the table with Lizzy

who did a lot of cute chibi art cards (in the photos she is the Mimi from digimon and Sailor Mercury). All the staff was really nice and helpful, they even gave us the freedom to expand our table when one of the artist didn't show up! Man, and nakakon gave Lizzy and I our own seperate hotel rooms in the club level, needed a keycard on the elevator to reach it! Ho ho fancy! My friend Jake and his girlfriend Gloria helped take a majority of these photos that I'm showing. That was their first anime con experience and I think they immediately fell in love with the anime con. You can see in the photoset after the vendor hall closed saturday it was time to drink and dance! I am meeting so many people at these cons that I have started a small following I think. I can recognize a lot of return customers, I hope that my art is continuing to please them! I am also grateful for all the friends I have made so far in the artist alley. Everyone is really encouraging of each others talents, I feel like I'm joining a giant family~
Lastly, I have to congratulate my friends

and several others for winning part of the cosplay runway as a High School of the Dead group. I didn't have a chance to see them walk it unfortunately! :/

And another reminder I will be at ACEN in Chicago April 25th-27th selling art in their artist alley. Please come say hi if you are attending! I will have an even crazier looking table this time around haha!
